Suspension Testing Equipment

Racing has always been a part of Maxwell Industries. It’s where we developed our shock dyno technology to help make our race cars go faster and handle better. Our shock dynos are now used in the mass transit industry to test shocks, struts and springs to prevent fatigue failures in the field, that cause costly delays.

Whether you need a suspension testing unit for transit or racing, our dynos are all made in-house the the same exacting standards.

The Maxwell Product line features quality construction and components along with an innovative design.

Small foot print design conceals the electronics and motor perfectly making the Maxwell Shock Dyno ideal for small shops and portable applications.

The Maxwell Product Line is a must have for your racing operation or transportation service!

Our Software

Quickly access and compare the performance of your shocks with our simple, easy to use software, that makes testing a breeze! Configurable warm-up cycles and temperature sensors allow you to test your suspension items at variable levels of performance. High accuracy USB data acquisition insures that what you see on the computer screen is what your shock, bar, or spring really is. Multiple test run overlays allow you to quickly and easily compare the performance of multiple shocks, bars, springs, and even adjustable shocks. Access raw data to understand every bit of your suspension items characteristics. Shock Inventory Report allows you to view your entire shock inventory in one place. Easy to read tables can be seen on screen or printed out for on the go situations.

6 different graphs create a visual representation of your suspension item’s performance:

  • Force v. Velocity
  • Force v. Displacement
  • Force CC/RO - CO/RC
  • Force Shock & Spring Average Force
  • Force CC/RO/CO/RC
  • Bar Dyno Plot
